Empowering Communities: Amazon’s #Digital & Financial Literacy (Del5) Event Successfully Concludes with Insights on Sustainable #BagRepair Unit”

On 16th May 2025, we concluded the #Del5Event, a key initiative aimed at #DigitalLiteracy and #FinancialLiteracy, as well as strengthening #BackwardLinkagesToBusiness. This event was a huge success, with 16 volunteers engaging deeply with the local community and contributing to the sustainability of the #BagStitchingCenter.

📍 Event Name: Important Digital/Financial Literacy and Backward Linkages to Business
🎯 Purpose: This initiative focused on equipping local women with essential #DigitalSkills and #FinancialManagement knowledge, empowering them to manage their businesses more effectively. Additionally, it aimed to improve the operational efficiency and sustainability of the #BagRepairUnit, ensuring its long-term viability.

✅ 16 volunteers from different teams including #Ops, #SLP, #WHS, #Finance, and #RE participated.
✅ Volunteers visited the #BagStitchingCenter and interacted with #WomenInTheCommunity, providing valuable insights.
✅ Anuj and Narottam shared expert knowledge on how to ensure the #BagRepairUnit remains sustainable and committed to offering ongoing #Support.

Impact:
The event sparked positive engagement between volunteers and the community, providing women with crucial skills to grow their businesses. By empowering these women with tools to better manage their businesses, we’re building a more #ResilientCommunity and contributing to long-term #Sustainability.
