Hello Friends, I’m Dhruv Dev Dubey, today, I’m
happy to share article about my lovely village Semariha which is situated in Rampurkalan Gramsabha of Koraon
Tehsil, My lovely village comes in the
disctrict of Proyagraj (formerly Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh. It is surrounded
by trees. There are about thousand people live in my village. A small river,
named “Sevati” flows by our village.
Most of the villagers are farmers where they work in their fields from morning
till evening. In the north of my village there is a primary school named
Primary School Semariha.
On the bank of River Sevati, there is one temple
named “Choura Devi” where every year our villagers do the “Navaratri Paath”
This place is serene and peaceful.
My village has a local and nearest market anmed
“Dramandganj” which is just 2-3 km away from my village Semariha where the
local people buy and sell things. For our village “Dramandganj market is known
for “Gup-shup, Chaya Chukkad, Political Discussion. Shopping etc. This market
is very near to me/my village where I did my schooling. This market is located
on the national highway no 7,; in the north it connect Lalganj, Mirzapur,
Varanasi and in South Hanumana Market and Rewa City.
From outside village is well connected with Roads
but inside of the village there is no proper road and drainage system which
causes villager’s HOT” conversation and creates tensions among them. Yes, just
few year back it received electricity facility.
Samariha is a Village in Koraon Block in
Allahabad District of Uttar Pradesh State, India. It belongs to Allahabad
Division . It is located ~100 KM towards South from District head quarters
Allahabad. 350 KM from State capital Lucknow
Samariha is surrounded by Koraon Block towards West
, Halliya Block (in Mirzapur District) towards East , Hanumana Block towards
South , Lalganj (of Mirzapur District) Block towards North . Allahabad ,
Mirzapur , Varanasi and Rewa, are the near by Cities to Samariha.
For me, my village ”Semariha” is one of the most
beautiful villages in the world. It is situated on the river side of Sevati..
Choura Devi Temple, (situated in the north of the village’ is a paradise of
beauty, purity, and peace. . . Here pure, pristine nature reigns supreme. There
are green undulating pastures and meadows of green grass and crops; woods,
stretch for miles all around. Here the sky is pure azure in which white
silky-floss-like clouds hover here and there. The food grown here is totally
pure, organic, and delicious. The people living here are innocent and devoid of
greed, deceit, and selfishness. I just love my village.
